“The food at this restaurant is amazing. It only has one sitting and there is no menu. You eat the dishes they prepare based on available ingredients that day. We had six courses including prosciutto ham and asparagus, beans, prawns and scallops, pasta and wild boar. The food was superbly prepared and delicious. It cost £65 each plus £30 for a bottle of house red.”

“Our experience was fine but nothing wow. The restaurant offers a fixed seven-course set menu every day. The starters were just okay, but the pork was excellent. That said, there was nothing particularly special about the food - it felt like very well-prepared home cooking. In my opinion, £400 for four people is significantly overpriced for the experience we had. While the food was enjoyable, the service left much to be desired. The manager made it clear that you’re simply a guest here— - you sit exactly where they tell you and eat exactly what they serve. The menu wasn’t clearly explained at the beginning, and for this price, I would expect a more welcoming and accommodating experience. Overall, there are plenty of other places in the area that offer a better experience for the same price.”

“A meal at el Boccon Di' Vino is an experience, a festin, a ritual and I love it. A series of starters, each more delicious than the previous one. Two pasta dishes, some of the most amazing pasta I've ever eaten. Followed by a less impressive (in my view) main course and desert (But by that time, you're full anyway...). Simona and her colleague create a special feeling at your table, and sometimes in the while small restaurant where diners know they are experiencing a collective gastronomic experience. Since Covid, you don;t need to book 6 months in advance anymore. I highly recommend it as a unique Richmond experience, along with a stroll by the river, seeing Richmond Hill and now the Ted Lasso locations. Arrive hungry!”
